2005 Mercury 6hp 4 stroke - wont start

It usually starts on the first or second pull. After it has set for a while, if it doesn't start I usually just put in a new plug an it works fine. This time no go. I'm seeing spark at the plug and when I pull it, gas is being squirted out of two nipples on the top of the carb, so I'm assuming gas is getting through. This motor has very low hours and is in almost new condition. It has always ran like a champ. Any suggestions? Thanks.

What about the gas? Has it been sitting for a long time? Take one plug out and spray a little starter fluid in the cylinder put plug back in and try it.

Test for spark with an open air gap tester,a bright blue lighting snap!
