I am DIYing a seal replacement for a 5hp mercury motor that I inherited. I removed the prop, prop shaft and the housing. I can’t figure out how to remove the 2 seals that are seated under the bearing. See pics. Do I need a special tool? I tried “punching” it out from underneath with flathead and mallet but I’m afraid of scratching something I shouldn’t or ruining the bearing.
