2005 mercury 250 outboard trooubleshoot

Starts and runs perfect for over 300 hours. Last week it would not start at first but when it did, it ran on 3 cylinders (guessing). Did the same 3 more times in a row. Finally started and ran perfect Started 4 more times that day perfect. Any suggestions?
