Having some issues with my 2005 Mercury 150 efi.

Due to age I recently changed the fuel pump, inline fuel filter, and oil sensor. After changing the parts, I took the boat to river to run a few times. I woke up the next morning and found a pool of oil. I took the cowling and air box off and it was leaking oil out the bottom carburetor. This hasn't happened before changing the parts, any suggestions on why this is happening and how to fix it?

The check valve needs to be replaced. It is located on the starboard side of the engine block down towards the bottom carb. This valve pressurizes the oil tank while the engine is running and is supposed to let the pressure out when you shut the engine down. If the tank holds pressure while the engine is off oil will push out of the lowest carb.

THIS PART CANNOT BE CLEANED!

It's under $20 just replace it.

Thanks for the help, after reading another post with the same issue I replaced the gasket in oil gap and tightened it down with vice grips to ensure no air was getting into tank. Ran the boat a good few times and no oil leak.
