2005 Mercury 115 hp 2 stroke running rough

I just bought a Center console with twin 115hp 2 stroke outboards. Having 2 different issues one motor dies if you come off the throttle quick from around 2000 rpm down to idle she just dies or if i change from forward to revers quickly it dies right out. The other has a very rough idle, when the rpms get over 1500 she smooths right out. I changed the plugs and the water separators and in line fuel filters. I even tried adding some SeaFoam to the fuel. Not much difference. Any ideas would be a huge help. Thanks

Trouble shooting starts with compression testing.----Post the numbers.------These motors only run on the top 2 cylinders at idle I believe.
