I will try and tell what is going on cause I am lost with it.

The motor starts and idols well but has a tick that goes up with the rpm's... also it takes a few seconds to get up out of the water to plain out then once you plain it out and have it wide open it dies out after a minute of running wide open...

when the running issues first started I sprayed a few shots of carb cleaner in the carbs.. and ran some seafoam through it seemed to work for about 3 weeks. But the ticking noise is new.

now we have put new plugs, and wires, new fuel lines, new fuel pump diaphram

Can someone please tell me what this sounds like to them please I beg for this thing to be fixed I hate not being on the water

I started the motor in the dark last night to look for a spark I did not see a spark from the flywheel or through a wire checked it over real good I would hate to think with it being a 05 motor that it would be a compression problem

A ticking motor ?------Lack of power ?--------Motor dies ?------------------Start with a compression test , takes just minutes and eliminates a lot of things.-----------Has the water pump been maintained ?--------Motors need a new impeller about every 5 years !!

Water Impeller was replaced a few months ago does anyone know what the compression should be on this motor

What you are looking for is that the 3 cylinders are the same.---------Should be around 100 PSI.--------Your motor is really 3 seperate motors with a common block and crankshaft.---That is why it is important that readings be the same.-----------A plugged carburetor can destroy just one cylinder !

I will have it checked when I get time I really hope its not a score cyl.
