"Howdy all, I'm having an issue with my engine/boat that I've owned since July. It's a 2005 with about 95 hours (I bought it with 80 hours), the boat is an 92 Scarab Sport. The engine ran great during sea trial and my first 2 weeks, then during start up, it would run, then get choppy and kick off. It did this until I finally just put in gear and went. Ran fine, idled fine during trip. Every start does this, so I changed fuel/water seperater, spark plugs and added Star-Brite to tank & Water seperate to try and clean injectors. The other day same stalling at start up, put in gear and got very sluggish performance at WOT, then engine Temp alarm comes on and engine powered down. Idled back to port.
Any thing sound familar to any of you guys?"
