"I took out my Triton today. Boat ran great this morning. After fishing for an hour, started the boat and tried to get on plane. The motor bogged down, then quit, restarted, tried again, was able to slowly get on plane and was able to only get 4600 RPMs. I contacted my mechanic and was told it was a fuel issue and need to try to squeeze the primer bulb. I squeezed the bulb, it got hard, then went soft. I then opened the gas cap to allay vapor lock. Despite my efforts the boat repeated its symptoms. The mechanic then told me I need to replace the primer bulb and gray fuel line. The reason for the fuel line is possible impact of ethanol. DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT??"
