2004 Mercury 4 stroke 9.9 wire harness

I recently purchased a used 4 stroke Mercury 2004 9.9EL 4ST
Serial 0T909313. The prior owner cut the wires from the remote harness & power from battery
I figured the wires that go to the battery. But I have found a Blue wire, white wire, green wire, red wire with pink stripe.
Over by the selaniod I have a brown wire coming off it , then a black wire. If I follow the black wire it goes to a ground block.
So I need the wire harness to connect to the remote, so I purchased a harness 859312T1.
So question is am I on the right path?
What remote control do I need to look for.

So 1 day no responses , but I did look up
A lot of info. I am posting on my own thread so if anyone needs help finding the answer
Blue wire goes to choke
Whit wire is the kill switch to ground
Red wire is pos 12 volts
Brown wire goes to coil so put power to it starter runs
Green wire ???? A lot of threads say charging & a lot of other things
So I got the motor running , tested the green wire and it was putting out voltage. I am not 100 percent sure. So have to see what happens after I get the new harness .
