2004 merc 60hp 4 stroke

Im fairly new to working on boats and just put new prop shaft seals and a new water pump/impeller in my lower unit cuz it was getting water in it, i think i solved the problem of getting it all sealed up but now im not getting the same water flow from the pee hole, theres some coming out but it kind of sprays i stuck something in the hole and doesnt seem like its clogged or the vents have anything in them, can anyone help me on what could be causing this?

Did you have a strong stream from pee hole prior to impeller being changed?
If so, then I would revisit your impeller install. Perhaps installed incorrectly or blockage?
