2004 Merc 50 wonbt idle

"I have a 2004 Mercury 50 hp. I have changed the spark plugs, added Sta-bil, drained the gas and it still won't idle. It starts great and will run if I throttle up to over 2000 RPM's, but it dies when I try to throttle down. Any sugesstions? Thanks!"

You could try adjusting it, but most times it requires disassembly and a good cleaning - no real magic in a can that can fix it..."
