"i have twin 2004 F150's.

"i have twin 2004 F150's. One would only run half throttle, i had water in the fuel. Flushed it all out, ran some sea foam through, new plugs, new fuel filter, new coils, new brain box. Motor will still only turn about 2500 rpms and skips. PLEASE HELP!!!!"

"If you have had water through the fuel system you should get the fuel injectors overhauled, I have had this problem with F115, F150,F225 etc.
I am not saying that this will fix your problem but something that should be done after water in fuel.I does sound like the motor is going into limp mode. Try and find someone with Yamaha diagnostic software, plug in and check for fault codes, this should help you track down the problem."

"i was hopeing the seafoam would clean them out, i guess not. can i remove & service the injectors myself? also, if it is a fuel problem will it show a fault code? i have a friend who seems to think fault codes only show for electric problems. thanks for your input"
