2004 DF 115 runs 3000 rm at idle

"Need some advise, engine gave beep every 8 sec.
Starts normal and when in gear, beep was gone.
Suddenly, when started engine runs 3000 r/m.
Reset makes no difference, only 3000 r/m is the result.
Chequed cables in motor, everything looks normal.
Suzuki dealers dont have a clue."

But (as a nono) i still cant explain why it runs 3000, and a Suzuki doesn't run on water??
With all the sensors and other complex stuff the engine has failed for the fifth time (now i was flowting helpless in the route of a cruiseship sailing out) Btw how can you get water out of the system? Or is a littlebit enough to drive the Suzuki nuts? With regards Robo
ps. the dealers only want to look at my problem with the laptop (and none has the time for the first 3 weeks)"

So you can"t put it in gear (without damaging the engine or without being blown out of the boat)"
