My 2004 Mercury 25HP bigfoot starts and idles O.K. But when I raise the trim about 2" the motor dies. I can run the trim back down and restart the motor but when I run the trim back up it dies.
I have disconnected the Yellow and black wires and the oil pressure switch in the motor but motor still stops. Also tried moving wires and wiggling gas line when idling with trim down, motor keeps running. Oil level is full at level trim.
Strange problem. Any ideas?
