2004 5 hp 2 stroke motor flushing

i bought a flush part for this motor. it resembels a cylinder with threads on one end. i was told a hose attaches to it and you could put on a hose clamp. the problem is i dont know where this attaches to the motor. i heard under the cowel and others say on the lower unit below the cavitation plate but i am not sure which screw or bolt to remove for this. even the manual is not clear on how to do it. does anyone have a picture of where this goes. or a link with pics. thanks in advance.
