2004 30 hp Johnson Has Water in Both Cylinders

Does anyone know what gaskets could fail and allow water to get in both cylinders? It started doing it for no reason. It will still run but not good. I purchased a gasket set and already changed the cylinder head gasket but it still does it.
 
That's odd. Possibility of a cracked block causing a crack between the cylinder wall and water cooling passages? Does it get water in the cylinders when your ears are attached flushing the motor or only when the boats in the water?

I flush it in a trash can full of water. If it were a cracked block wouldn't it just be getting in one cylinder? I did look for a crack when I had it apart but didn't see any. I guess Ill just replace all the gaskets in the set and see how that works.
 
Cracked block is definitely a more rare possibility than a wore seal on the crankshaft allowing the water being pumped from the water pump into areas it shouldn't be. Racerone probably has a better answer. Check the seals first. Never hurts to replace gaskets but never a need to fix what ain't broke.
 
I pulled the power head and I don't understand how water could make it through a bad lower crank seal. The water comes up through a separate tube and not around the drive shaft. How would it cross over?

Also, how am I suppose to know if the little tube went back in the hole down in the water-pump when I put it back together?
 
??------Water is discharged into the exhaust housing to keep everything cool !-------Now it is possible for some exhaust / water to get sucked into the crankcase via the lower crankshaft seal.---------You do understand the concept of a 2 stroke motor I hope.---------I am not there to do the inspection.----Easy to pull the lower seal housing to have a look !!
 
when putting leg back on use a torch and have it there watching as best you can. most of the time they just go on, sometimes a pain.
