2004 25 hp mercury stalling

I have a 25 hp merc 2 stroke t

I have a 25 hp merc 2 stroke that keeps losing it's prime. I have tried 3 tanks and fuel lines and each one will run great until they get below a 1/2 tank . I have the vent open on the tank and when it stalls and I try to pump the primer bulb the bulb will collapse and can't be primed . I will be trying my theory about the 1/2 tank on wed. but that still should not be happening . I have brought it to local dealers but it runs graet while sitting at idle . Any help is greatly appreciated.

"Yes to both questions . I've been told that it's probably either a bad tank or a hose . The one time it did it I had my buddies tank and hose with us and switched while running and it took right off . I had another tank , tried that ran great for 5 trips , then started again . Through the advice of local merc dealers I purchased a new line and tank. have not tried yet ."
