2004 225 intermittent fuel leak

Hello,

I cant seem to locate a fuel leak I have on my 04 225 Honda. It runs fine on the hose and in the water. Hasn't leaked when I have the hose on in the driveway, only when I pull it out of the water on the trailer, I notice a little fuel seeping from between the engine cover on the stbd side of the engine and towards the front in the middle. I've checked obvious things like clamps and fuel bowls but they seem to be dry and secure. I'm a first time Honda owner just got this boat about a month or so ago. This has been the only problem so far besides a clogged pisser that I got answers to on here from a previous post. very helpful. Thanks for any help.

Can you check your fuel pressure, I had intermittent leaks when the fuel pressure increased, it started to increase because of a dirty fuel regulator mesh filter.

I have the same prob on my 225 if I tip the motor fully up when trailering. I found the fuel to be coming out of the VST vent. Try tipping the motor only about 1/2 way up next time.
