"I purchased a used boat last year with a low hour motor. Problem is that it will bog down and stall when you accelerate either under load or even when fired up in the driveway. Cleaned the plugs and it still does the same thing. It will get up and go when you take it slow on the throttle but if you hammer it, it will bog and stall. Not sure if this is related, but one time the engine power went down when it was under full throttle, down a couple hundred RPM's like it was missing.
The boat sat outside for the most part so I'm not sure if the injectors are clogged or if it is an ignition issue. The gas that was in the tank was pretty crappy though as I drained it for the winter and dumped about 25 gallons into 3 cars and we experienced the worst gas mileage ever."
