2003 Mercury 25EL Grease?

Hello

I have a 2003 Mercury 25EL Outboard, Serial Number 0T632804.
There is some grease coming out underneath the head on the side closest to the boat. There is also a little bit of grease coming out of the grease fitting below that.

I dont know if it is a bad seal or what.

Just talked to someone saying that it is something that happens when there is too much grease in it and acts as an over flow. Sound right?
 
If you are talking about grease (like wheel bearing grease and not "oil") oozing out of the swivel bracket (that connects the motor to the boat), and from/near the fittings (little nipples) that allow you to "grease" the bracket, then yes, that could be considered normal - especially if this has just been greased...
