I removed 6 bolts to drop lowe
I removed 6 bolts to drop lower unit and another bolt holding trim tab to access one of 6. The factory manual does not reference any other bolts needing to be removed such as shift linkage as on older Johnson engines.Lower unit will drop about 1 1/2" but will not come off. Possibly stuck on spline that have corrosion or foreign residue. If it is just stuck what is best way to remove the lower unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
