"Hello,
I was hoping for some help. I have a 2003 johnson 140 4 stroke. The motor has always run great. Always fired first time. This past weekend went to a boat show and ran about 45 minuets motor seemed fine. Walked around for a couple of hours went back to the boat and it would not run. Cranked fine sounded like it wanted to run but didn't seem to be getting any gas. Found a wire (yellow with red stripe) that I supposed had came loose from the ignition switch and reconnected it but no change. after a 3 hour tow home I tried the motor and it kicked right over. Went to the boat this morning and it wouldn't turn over again. Like I said it seems to want to run but doesn't seem to be getting gas. Any suggestions."
 
the yellow red wire 12 volt st

the yellow red wire 12 volt starter circit would need to be hooked up for motor to even crank thats it job sends power to starter solenoid to run starter check for spark when it wont start checkfuel lines ? crank sensor failing ?cant get a signal/ saftey tether bad?
