My engine runs fine, but running at 180 degrees at 200 rpm after about 10 minutes of running time. The impeller and thermostats are new.The guage was checked and it is fine. My mechanic said that the poppet valves rarely do not go bad and that it may be the temperature sending unit.
Also does anyone know how to take off the lower cowling to get at the poppet valve?
