Hello all
I am trying to help my brother , he performed normal preseason maintenance , launched and idled 50 yards from the ramp . engine quit and has not started since , he took it to a local mechanic who ran diagnostics which showed no results , EMM was sent to Alabama , returned with no issues or codes present . I have checked all fuses , relays all click when energized , also I can feel movement in the injectors when cranking . We had a voltage drop from 12.7 to 8.2 when cranking , replaced the starter solenoid , now 12.7 to 9.8 .
Is 9.8 volts too low to operate the EMM ?
