"Engine (2002, 115 hp 4 stroke) runs fine in netrual & idles fine. However, when I am out on the water, if I am catching waves my engine will act like it is starving for gas & stall out. It does not do this on calm water, it occurs when the boat, goes over rough water. Could it be a pluged gas filter...fuel pump...injectors??? Any help would be appreciated! I have had it to the shop & they say nothing wrong, however, no mechanic has come out on the boat to experience what I am trying to tell them! Very frustrating...Please help if any suggestions...I will listen! Would love to enjoy my boat...
Every time I hit rough water the stalling happens, in calm water it does not????

"Check that the ECU is bolted

"Check that the ECU is bolted on tight, I have had them come loose and cause the same problem. The other thing is that you could have a faulty ECU I have had this as well. Hope this helps."
