"Guys, I have a 2002 200hp ox66 that has run like a top for years. I have stayed on top of routine maintanece, ring free and starton additives, etc. Recently when I hit any steep waves in my boat at somewhat slow speeds 10-12kts the motor looses RPM immeadiately and occansionally stalls. It will start right back up everytime with out issue. After having this issue I cleaned the VST filter again (stills seems clean) replaced the low preasure fuel pumps, new water filter separator, primer bulb. Took the boat out twice and it ran perfect i can "hole shot" the boat, it doesn't stumble and has plenty of power however the water was calm. I finally got it out in rough weather and the problem is still there. Weird thing was once I finally got the boat on plane and the engine was trimmed it didn't stumble or loose rpm when i hit waves only when the bow of the boat was high and the engine was trimmed all the way down did the waves seem to matter. At this point I'm thinking I have a loose wire somewhere or i have a problem with the pickup in the tank. What wires should I check based on the problem? I have checked the obvious connections to the battery."
