2002 - Mercruiser alpha 3.0 Steering Problems

Just bought a 2002 Bayliner capri 1950 cl with a 3.0 Mercruiser Alpha...Dropped it in the water and she ran great on the 1st day. The second day the steering started to get tight and pull to the right . Now if I go real slow the steering wheel will turn all the way to the right...by itself...It has Rack and Pinion Steering ...any thoughts on the right fix? How can I determine if its the rack. cable, kink in the power steering line, pump etc? Any help would be great Thanks

With boat on the trailer you should be able to turn the steering wheel by push/pulling the outdrive. Wandering boat at slow speed is normal.
