2002 Honda 225 HP Four Stroke

Hi,

At the end of last season, just as I was taking my boat out of the water, I realized that the button on my binnacle for trim would not work. The trim button on the engine was working, but for some reason, that was the only one. Is anyone familiar with how to fix this? Where does this button normally become faulty? Do I need to replace the whole switch?

is it top mount control ?sometime the trim switch wires get break from inside the the control handle,due to movement of handle,other than most of the time switch inside goes bad,you have to replace it, first check the wire and connector,
