2002 90hp Johnson 4 stroke leaking oil

Hello I need some help with my 90hp Johnson 4 stroke, it’s a 2002 I’ve tried replacing the base gasket with no luck. What the motor is doing is if I put oil in the engine and run it out of water it doesn’t leak anything but if I put the motor in the water and run it I will see the oil leaking into the water until the motor runs out of oil. Has anyone had an issue like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated

The 4 stroke would be a SUZUKI built motor.-------Need a model # first.
