2002 9.9 mercury 4 stroke no power

motor starts runs about 30 sec. fine then has no power and sounds like on one cylender replaced the cdi box and still the same. checked all the basic stuff still no luck please help i need to go fishing

Does both cylinders have spark? Can you pump the prime bulb and it stay running? Answer these questions and give good details, and we can probably help.

yes thay do have spark,both cylinders run off same coil. ben thru carb. looks good clean as new one no dirt! check fule pump,filter,gas line,pump bulb with running no change.even sprayed gas thru carb with running still nothing. i dont think its the fuel seams like electrical. has me stumped! time to remove flywheel? got fuel,spark,compression just dont run after idol,give it gas and it will start missing?????

Sounds like the pick up is bad, or dirty. Check that and let us know.
