I have a 2002 mercury 50hp out
I have a 2002 mercury 50hp outboard and all systems worked fine before I removed and replaced the 2cycle oil reservoir. I was very careful to reattach all wires correctly. Now the only way to start the engine is to short across the solenoid with a screwdriver (the ignition key won't work) and the electric trim won't work either. I have checked all the fuses that I can find. The engine runs great it's just those two items that won't work. Thanks in advance
