I'm looking at purchasiing a used Mecury motor and was wondering if anyone has changed/removed the remote ingition key on this 2002 30hp ELH tiller motor. The cord for this seems short and would be easier to not have it at all. I would like to have a switch or two like my old motor. Any problems with this model motor why a person shouldn't buy it? I assume this will have a 1/2 to 1 amp ouput for charging the battery while running? Any info would be great. THANKS
