2002 225 mercury 225 optimax clear codes .

Hello I have twin 2002 225 hp optimaxs . I did work on the motors and I set off a bunch of alarms when I was working on it and now they are stored in the ecm . Does anyone know any tricks to reset the codes with out having to have a mechanic come with his computer . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Great thanks . I have one more question, I just bought the boat in December but it’s getting so expensive with oil I can’t really use the boat as much as I live . How important is it that I use optimax oil In it ? Some people say I can use the penzoil that they have been running it in there optimax for 100s of hours with no issues other people say you can only run the optimax oil . Any advice on this ? Thanks
