Hey all. I'm new to boating, at least I'm new to owning my own boat. I just picked up a 1990 Cajun 174 adventure with a 2002 mercury. I need to partially remove the motor to replace the steering cable. I'm told I can get a lifting eye to attach to the threaded rod in the center of the fly wheel. Does anyone know what thread size that is? Or know where I can find a manual on line?
If I do use the thread I. The center of the flywheel should I take the nut off holding down the fly wheel first?
