"any help would be greatly app

"any help would be greatly appreciated. I hit a rock with my propeller doing about 25mph and the engine quit. I have spark on all three cylinders, fuel (rebuilt the carbs recentley) and using starting fluid yet still not even attempting to fire up. Timing ??? The engine is chain driven and 2 suzuki techs have said they have never seen a chain jump on these engines. ?????? HELP ME PLEASE"

good thought but i have alread

good thought but i have already checked that. As far as checking timing i dint know any way but to have the engine running and using a timing light or to spend a day ripping the lower end and powerhead off and checking the chain marks and with these suzuki techs saying they have never seen a chain jump on these engines i am a little hesitant as to getting in that deep. Is there any other way to check timing on these engines. Thanks for any information.

"well the flywheel can be spun

"well the flywheel can be spun there to where the marks on both line up and I could feel if the piston is at the top but that isn't going to be accurate enough to tell me if it jumped a tooth or two you know. I assume that's what you mean ? have you ever heard of the crankshaft bending in these, somebody said they have seen that before a few times and that the engine still spun over easily ? Thanks alot for all your information. I'm gonna try and figure it out this weekend any more thoughts before i get into would be great and if i figure it out i'll be sure and let you know."
