Motor runs fine now. Been doin

Motor runs fine now. Been doing this since I put new prop in march. Could just be coincidence. Every so often the motor will jerk. Doesn't seem to matter the speed or trim level. Engine does not miss or rev. Wondering if could be the prop. Put original size on when replaced. Should there be any play on the prop shaft? There is about a 1/4 inch of play in it. Tilt and trim is fine.

"Thanks for the reply! When I changed the prop, I am sure I put it on right but admit I did not torque it to the 55 lbs I have seen recommended. I will check this regardless and see if it makes a difference."
