First post so hopefully someone can help me out. About to finish my first hunting season with a MFS25A and I have to say that this motor has been phenomenal! Looking to upgrade a bit in the off-season and as I’m looking through the parts catalog between the 25 and the 30 and all the power parts are the same part number. Cam, head, pistons, crank etc. all have the same part number. The carbs are a slightly different number though and the manual says that the upper RPM limit on the 30 is 200rpm higher. My question is this: are the carbs actually different? Is the timing different? Is it literally the case that you just turn the 25 higher? Thanks for the input!
