I have a 2001 Mercury 25 hp that I received the carburetor in parts. The float can slide on in either direction, but I was hoping someone could tell me the correct way. The rib side of the float can either go toward the needle spring, or toward the bottom of the bowl. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I found these images and wanted to share them here to give an idea of what I am talking about. Thanks.
