Splashed sea ray amberjack today. The boat was stored with 1/4 tank of gas over the winter stabllized. Topped off the tanks when we went in and added some fuel treatment before adding the fuel. Anyhow, while underway to the boats new home 30 miles away we left plymouth harbor, Ma and got on plane until we got into the cape cod bay. 10knot speed limit in the bay due to right whales so we did a slow cruise for 15 miles. Anyhow it was blowing 25 so the conditions were a alittle snotty and we were rolling around a bit. Got to the cape cod canal and tried to get back on plane and the starboard motor stalled out. Restarted and would not go above 1500 without stalling out. Tried multiple times to get back on plane w/o luck. The motor was running up to temp 165, not over heating. Oil pressure was perfect and the motor was making 14-15 volts. There was no issues with restarting the motor after it would stall out. I even tried getting up to speed slowly and it would stall out at 15000. The motor seemed like it was trying to compensate by raving up a little after starting to stall then it would bog down to 500-600 than die. It almost seemed like there might be water in the separator... any ideas.
