Hi, I'm considering buying a used 2001 40hp mariner/mercury 4 stroke to replace my dead honda.
As the only reason I find myself in the position of needing a new motor is due to the previous owner having never changed the internal anodes on the honda I'd be interested to inspect the ones on this mariner just to establish that they have at least been seen to as part of it's regular servicing.
My question is though, where are they located?
I have searched far and wide online and looked at every parts diagram I can find but cannot locate them, anyone able to help?
Also if you have any other feedback on this motor that might help in my decision to purchase or not please let me know. Thanks in advance. Andrew
