"Hey all. Last year while having a fun day on the water all of a sudden the engine just bogged down and now it starts, idles and goes slow allright but when trying to give it more than half idle it just sits there at maybe 18mph no matter how much throttle Is given it wont go any higher. If I remember right I checked all cylinders last year and they all had spark. Its been this way all year and I need a fix. It has run in salt water a couple years prior to this down in florida. In the search i found it might be a clogged thermostate??? Causing it not to exceed 2500 rpm's. If so unfortunately I dont have a manual can anyone tell me where it is? Thanks for any help"
