2001 Johnson 25 - Tiller Handle Issues

So, the grip on the tiller handle of my recently purchased 25 Johnson was in sad shape. I purchased the new twist grip & sleeve thinking it would be an easy switch out, but realized a few things. The idle adjustment assembly that threads into the new handle will not come out of the old handle. I assume it has some locking tabs to prevent removal, so I'll probably have to buy a new one. Also, when I pulled the old one off, it appears that I might have lost one of the small stainless guides that works with the helix pieces. Will have to look carefully during better light. Any insights on replacing the twist grip would be greatly appreciated.

Overall, the tiller handle seems loose. I tried tightening the bolt that secures it to the shift/steering bracket, but the bolt didn't feel loose and I didn't want to force it. It just seems that it should have less play. Any thoughts?

Think I've got it figured out. I've been ordering factory parts through boats.net. They have all the schematics. Good delivery time and they've had everything I've needed. Thanks again!
