Hello, I have a 2001 Larson 19ft bowrider with a VP 4.3GL with SX Drive. I have 2 issues with the engine. First, the only time the temp comes up to operating levels is during idling, when on plane, the temp guage drops right down. I think it's a thermostat problem, what would the stock temp rating on the thermostat be??
Second issue is the carb, when I accelerate to get up on plane, it bogs. There was supposedly a carb kit put in last year but I'm not positive as to whether or not it was done. My thinking is the accelerator pump diaphragm.
