2001 4.3 Mercruiser Won't Start

I have a 2001 4.3 Mercruiser that won't start. It started with a bad starter, replaced the starter with a rebuilt one. Motor started up and ran fine for 30 - 45 minutes. Shut motor off and put in garage, the next weekend I got the boat out and the motor will not start. I have checked the motor for spark, via timing light, had spark. It will just turn over but won't start. What am I missing or need to check?

Thanks, but I got to thinking about it and knew it had to be fuel related, being as I had spark. I figured out that at the same time I had starter problems, I changed the fuel filter. So I took the line off and didn't have fuel at the carb. I refilled the line with fuel and it started. Apartly when I changed the fuel filter there was still air in the filter and after it sat the air came to the top and the fuel went down, so the pump wouldn't pull the fuel back up.

Motor runs great now, better than ever.
