2001 3cyl 90HP Carb Float Setting WME 78 Carburetor

Hi all, I need some specific help about the float setting specification and how or where to measure.
Yes I do have a Seloc Subscription ... the float specification I believe is wrong for WME 78 carburetors. The manual is very generic and I know WME carbs are different.

There is an old WME rebuild youtube video and this topic comes up yet goes unclarified. 9/16 inch per Seloc can't be correct as it is impossible to achieve. Seloc shows absolutely nothing by way of 'how to achieve' this measure. The float has multiple steps to measure from.

I am very much hoping another mechanic can kindly share the factory 'how to' for the WME 78 carbs.

Answering myself. Apparently WME carbs do have a float height of 9/16.
Measure opposite of hinge on float where slope meets front. No gasket, measure from carb body to this point.

This means the float does not sit level or parallel to the carb body. Float Tilts up a bit so there will be less fuel in the bowl (leaner). At this point I'll see what happens. This may explain much difficulty with idle tuning.
