2001 25 hp big foot

I have a 2001 25 hp big foot outboard. 4 stroke. It has quite a bit of oil under the exhaust. It looked burned and was thick. The oil is a little low it was not low last time I took it out. It ran just fine last time I used it. I did run Aground, one time last time I was out. It bent my prop. Could that have damaged my engine? And could that be the cause of the oil coming out of the exhaust? I changed my propeller today and that is when I noticed the oil at the exhaust. Also there is some oil under the cowin behind what looks to be a air intake. Any help here would be great. Thanks Ray.
