"I went to lake yesterday to fish. Motor started and ran fine. Good or decent hole shot. Ran a mile or two. Fished, then sarted motor it ran fine. Went to another hole and fished! Started and tried to take off fell flat on face. Restart and did same thing. Tried several times, same results. Finally got it to putter in gear.Give it any gas Die! Sounded like it was missing? Rev up fine put in gear die! Putted back toward dock, over two miles away.All of a sudden it sounded like it wanted to take off. Floored it and off we went. I ran it for several miles to see if it would do it again. Shut down then started and floored it motor rev up BUT slow out of hole! Looked at rpm's showed 3 grand when floored. Wide open it was running 5800 RPM's. When it just idle it would die.
It has new gas rebuilt carbs last year. Any Ideas where to look,or look at? It's a Johnson Carb 200, 2000 model.# J200PLSSC
