2000 Yamaha 150

I keep getting a low voltage alarm on my hpdi 150.
I have a brand new 1000 mca battery installed.
What are some thing I can look for other than a loose wire.
I have clean and tighten everything.

Is the battery being charged?

Use a handheld voltmeter to check the voltage on the battery terminals with the engine off, and then again with the engine at idle, and again with the engine at ~2500rpm. Post the voltages back here and we can see if your charging is working.
