2000 Mercury 90hp two stroke NO SPARK need help!!!

Hello i have a 2000 mercury 90hp mercury with no spark, i have disconnected the black and yellow wire from the key switch and do get a spark and also disconnected the the black ground to key switch and spark comes back, so i replaced the key switch but im still getting the same problem, is there something im missing , is there a bad ground ?

Disconnect kill circuit at the engine side sounds like she's shorting somewhere,well you have proved that,so cleaning terminals to shiny and look for bare wire touching ground
