Can anyone advise on the idle timing on a 25hp mercury 2 stroke outboard.

This is discussed many times !-----You really do not set idle timing.-----------You set maximum timing advance and idle timing magically looks after itself.-----------Idle timing is where the throttle plate opens.------It would be discussed under " link and sync " topics.-------------Instead of probing with timing I have to ask ----What is your motor doing / not doing " ??
